Colored Pencils:

Colored pencils are fast, clean, and relatively easy to use and come in a variety of colors. There are several possible highlighting techniques that allow you to highlight a specific part of the plan or section and therefore avoid coloring the entire page.

Watercolor:

It is perhaps the most common and effective medium used for adding color to plans, sections, and especially perspective images. There are three types of watercolors, including tubes, small tablets, and liquid forms. The latter is especially useful if you want your image to be very light in color. Before starting with watercolors, it is important to learn the techniques when applying this medium to paper. Otherwise, you could easily crush a lot of the previous hard work.

Pastels:

Pastels need a little intimacy, but once mastered they are a ubiquitous medium that can be mixed with anything else. The texture of the paper must be taken into account as the final result will be affected depending on your usage. A kind of transparent tape can be used when peeling off soft pastel particles on parts of a floor plan leaving clear boundaries between different areas. When the final drawing is ready, it will need to be attached to a spray holder.
